The Selection Process

Leadership Iowa candidates are nominated for the program. Self-nominations are also encouraged. A committee evaluates each application and makes its selections based on several criteria. The leadership potential of the individual is certainly a major factor. Diversity of the group is also strongly considered. We know the value of the synergy that develops when people gather from a wide continuum of professions
and places.
